- EZ-040 Wardick

Wardick is an interesting fish-type Zoid. What really set it apart is that the kit came with bits of styrofoam to help it float on the surface of the water, which was a great deal of fun for many younger fans.

- Zoids Battle Story

ZAC 2101...  The Western Continent War ended with the victory for the Republican forces. However, the Imperial regent, Gunther Prozen, who had succeeded in withdrawing the main forces, rejected the ceasefire offered by the Republic. As he rushed to reorganize his troops, he was also trying to strengthen their naval power in preparation for the upcoming landing operation on the Dark Continent of Nyx from his enemies.

For this they deployed the Wardick, a naval Zoid that could compete with the Hammer Head of the Republican Army. This fish-type Zoid, which boasted invincibility both on the surface and beneath the waves during the Old War, silently set out one after another from the Empire's ports. The Republican Command hasn't yet grasped the existence of this terrifying enemy.

- Fuselage Explanation

After the Imperial Engineering Team discovered that a limited use of the Organoid System could accelerate the splitting of the Zoid Core, they succeeded in mass-producing critically endangered Zoids. One of them, the Wardick, was the strongest naval combat Zoid and could operate in the deep sea at a depth of 12,000 meters. At the surface, it could use a beam cannon on its back. Underwater, it could destroy enemies with the Sonic Blaster in its outh. It could also fight on land for short periods of time.
