- EZ-068 Storch

Storch was quite the cool comeback from some older Zoid designs, even rocking the old clam-shell cockpits style. With its wind up gimmicks it flaps its wings up and down and stomps along at a decent pace.

- Fuselage Explanation

The first archeopteryx-type Zoid developed by the Zenebas Empire during the Old Central Continent War to ensure absolute air superiority. It's a famous machine that had many variations during that time. Since it's a lightweight fighter, it's not as good as the current Republican air combat Zoids in terms of firepower and maximum speed, but it's comparable to the Raynos and Storm Sworder in terms of maneuverability.

- Zoids Official Fan Book EX Vol. 1

The Gojulasgiga began the first issue of Official Fan Book EX, a series of small pamphlets/booklets released with the end of the NJR kits, detailing the battle story at that point. The issues contain some beautiful pencil artwork, model kit images, and more! Since they're rather long, we've put them on a separate page. Click the image to your left to read!

This issue follows Empire pilots Aqua Erius and Sapphire Tripp as their customized Storches escort a squadron of unmanned Flyscissors. Their battle takes place above the Florecio Ocean, above an encharted island, against the Republican Army's Raynos. The BLOX Zoids offer a great asset to the Empire, serving as unmanned machines who can launch suicide attacks with little to no concern for their own well being.

Aqua is far from content with the match up, however. He scoffs at the use of unmanned machines, and boasts about the pride of a true Zoid Pilot.
