- Zi-025 Gustav Moonbay Spec.

Gustav is an interesting case. The NJR decided to go with the Moonbay scheme, and this is fantastic, but we didn't get a modern-release of the classic gray or white that's seen so commonly in the show. Either way, the motorized movement simulates the constantly moving shell, and that looks just amazing. Gustav also comes with trailers, and has an amazing hauling capacity that can carry multiple large kits, if you can get them to fit.

- TV Anime Story

The front lines of the Empire and the Republic, which continued their fierce fight on the Western Continent, suffered from food and ammunition shortages. This was because the supply units that supported the battlefield were always the first to be targeted. However, there was a free-working female transporter who could handle any dangerous supply mission. Her name was Moonbay, and she drove a red Gustav.

- Fuselage Explanation

The Gustav is a Zoid that has the hardest outer shell of all metal lifeforms on the Planet Zi. For a long time, it was thought to be a Zoid illsuited for combat due to its gentle personality and low mobility, but it proved to have an amazong survival rate in actual combat testing. It has been officially adopted by both the Empire and the Republic armies as a supply transport Zoid, and is also widely used as a civilian transport. There is currently research going on to investigate potential improvements as a long-range support combat Zoid by installing a large turret.
