Masterpiece Zoids was a small line released during 2016, featuring just two Zoids reimagined as high-detail, complex motorized action figures. The two Zoids chosen were the Shield Liger and Saber Tiger.

- Anniversary Zoids Release
Years later, in 2022, TakaraTomy announced a new Anniversary Zoids line, which used the Masterpiece Zoids base to recreate the heroic ligers from the different anime series. These are two separate lines, even if they use the same base, but because they are both quite short, we decided to include them on the same page. We'll add to this section later as the kits are released.
