- Battle Story

- Prozen's Ambition

At the Garil Ruins, located on the southern part of the continent of Europa, officer Gunther Prozen of the Guylos Empire Army discovered the "Zoid Factor." A technology left behind by the Ancient Zoidian people and the source of all Zoids. Along with it he found a small Zoid that could enhance the combat power of Zoids known as an Organoid, which could also function as an interface between humans and Zoids. He also discovered the existence of a giant Zoid, the Demon Beast of Destruction, the Death Saurer, which possessed high intelligence and excellent combat power, and had led the Ancient Zoidian people to ruin, along with information on how to restore it.

The existence of this amazing ancient technology inspired the young officer's ambitions to conquer Planet Zi.

Prozen established a research institute under his direct control with the pretext of strengthening the military's capabilities. From analyzing the Organoids, centered around the Death Saurer Revival Plan, he succeeded in partially adjusting the Zoid Factor. The improvements that came about from applying this technology along with the introduction of new Zoids led the Guylos Empire Army to victory on all fronts. His achievements, which could've hailed him a savior, saw Prozen rise to the rank of General.

By gaining the trust of Emperor Guylos, he took the place of the young Crown Prince, Rudolph Gerhardt Zeppelin III, who was only 10 years old at the time, and became the de facto leader of the Guylos Empire as its Regent.

At the same time, Prozen, in order to determine the connection between humans and Organoids, trained Raven, a boy with a distinct hatred of Zoids as part of his private army. He gave him the Organoid Shadow, who was close to a wild form Zoid, as a trial to train wild Organoids to be obedient servants for humans. Then, after they'd gained experience in actual combat, he gave him the fruits of his research into the Zoid Factor, the Geno Saurer, born from the research phase of the Death Saurer.

The Geno Saurer, a small part of the great power of the Death Saurer that Prozen so desired, along with Raven and Shadow, who were well accustomed to actual combat by now, crushed a large Republican Army force with their overwhelming combat power.

"When humans and Zoids are in sync, they become an absolute force."

Having witnessed this result, Prozen's ambitions to become an absolute force himself by acquiring the Death Saurer were only confirmed.

- The Dark Kaiser's Revenge

Prozen's ambitions were cut short by the exploits of Bang Freiheit, a boy who befriended Zoids, and the Blade Liger, a Shield Liger that'd been rendered stone and unable to move but was miraculously reincarnated. At the same time, Raven's pride in being the strongest Zoid rider, feeling that his only purpose in life was to fight, was shattered along with his Geno Saurer. However, Prozen was seized by the thoughts of the revived Death Saurer, living on as the Dark Kaiser. With two Ancient Zoidians, Hiltz and Rease, both accompanied by Organoids as his vanguard, he continued to pursue his new ambitions.

It was the revenge story of the Death Saurer against the humans who'd absorbed the power of all Zoids and turned Planet Zi into a world of nothingness. Raven, too, was still alive, though he'd lost his memories and emotions. When the Dark Kaiser confirmed that Raven was still alive, he gave him the Geno Saurer once again and invited him to fight. Raven's fighting abilities following his reawakening were even greater than before, and he became a common threat to the Helic Republic and Guylos Empire, which had made peace with each other. This plunged both nations into chaos.

- The Red Demon Dragon, Geno Breaker

Raven fought alone against the Republic/Empire allied forces. His Organoid, Shadow, perhaps sensing its limitations, along with the Geno Saurer, entered an "evolutionary cocoon", a temporary sleep. It was the same cocooning phenomenon that the Shield Liger had exhibited when it was reincarnated as the Blade Liger.

"An evolving threat."

The allied forces, trying to prevent this, launched a concentrated attack with several divisions, but due to its perfect defensive functions, they were unable to deal any damage to the cocoon, let alone the main body, and the evolved form of the Geno Saurer, the Red Demon Dragon, the "Geno Breaker" was born, appearing before the eyes of the allied forces.

The Geno Saurer's characteristic weapon, the Charged Particle Cannon, had destructive power far greater than anything that'd come before, and in an instant it buried a heavily armored force consisting of several Gojulas, one of the strongest Zoids in the Republican Army. Its high-speed hovering movements had also acquired the ability to fly, thanks to the power-ups made to its fuselage. With this mobility, it toyed with and ultimately annihilated the unit directly under the Emperor's command, the Schwarz Squad, even dealing a heavy blow to the commander machine piloted by Colonel Karl Lichten Schwarz, the Empire's greatest ace pilot.

- Raven and Shadow

Hiltz, who'd been working in the shadows of Raven's combat activities and Rease's covert activities, found the Zoid cores of the two scorpion-type Zoids that had been used to contain the Death Saurer in the past. He fused them together and made adjustments using his own Organoid, Ambient, and created the large-scale combat Zoid, the Death Stinger.

Hiltz initiated combat with this destructive beast, and as a demonstration, he fired a long-range bombardment with the Charged Particle Cannon. At the end of its path was the Geno Breaker, fighting the Blade Liger and Lightning Saix. It was perfect timing to kill two birds with one stone, eliminating anyone with power, be they friend or foe.

The arrow of light that interrupted this desperate battle hit the Geno Breaker, mortally wounding Shadow.

"How dare you do this to Shadow!"

Furious, Raven turned his fangs against Hiltz's Death Stinger.

To Raven, Shadow was no longer just a servant, but had become a friend and a source of comfort. He'd fight for Shadow, his friend. However, Shadow had once again undergone readjustment by the Dark Kaiser. It'd been regenerated, and with its memories wiped, Shadow, unable to recognize Raven, attacked him.

Tears welled up in Raven's eyes as he prepared to be killed by his irreplaceable friend. Those tears reawakened Shadow's lost memories.

- The Red and Blue Miracle

The Dark Kaiser had found the Death Saurer's main body in the ancient city of Eveopolis, which lied deep in the valley of the Rare Hertz. However, the Dark Kaiser, whose body had already been overtaken by the Death Saurer's consciousness, was transformed into its Zoid Core instead, and absorbed into its main body.

Waiting for this moment, Hiltz fused with the Death Stinger, which had been a deterrent to the Death Saurer in the previous era, and further absorbed the Death Saurer. Hiltz — the Death Saurer then attempted to absorb Bang and Raven as well.

"We must protect our Organoid friends and the Zoids."

With the same goal in mind, former rivals Bang and Raven deployed a joint effort to crush the Death Saurer's ambitions. Their enemy's power was infinite. Yet, so were the thoughts that powered them.

The Blue Blade Lion and the Red Demon Dragon.

Two miraculous Zoids, which could've been said to be created by Planet Zi itself, faced the Death Saurer, the Demon Beast of Destruction head-on. The result of their faith in each other and in their beloved Zoids brought about a miraculous victory.
