A 1/72 assembly kit. By switching on the motorized unit, you can recreate the undulating movements unique to insect larvae.
The tail has an openable cover with a missile molded inside. The missile can be moved by manually rotating it left or right at the base, or adjusting the elevation angle.
A 1/72 scale unpainted generic pilot figure is included and can be seated in the cockpit.
By flipping the switch you can switch it between forwards and backwards movement.

AZ-08 Molga Design Concept Sketch
While following the design of the original kits released in 1984 and 1999, the proportions have been carefully reconsidered while taking into account the flow from head to tail that's unique to insect-type models. The settings for Molga itself have also been re-examined, and new interpretations of its original armaments and a jamming antenna have been drawn new for this product.
- New Modeling
The Jamming Antenna, an original weapon newly added to the Advanced Zi Series, is included as a new weapon part for the Molga.
- Motorized Movements
This is the first time that a Molga kit has been equipped with a motor. It moves even more realistically now, like it's actually come to life, and in conjunction with this action the whole body moves from the head to the tail, recreating the undulating movement unique to larvae. In addition, when you flip the switch backwards, it moves backwards while raising and lowering its head.
01: The head moves up and down.
02: The gear on the back rotates according to how it moves.
03: The tail moves up and down.
- Movable Gimmicks
Each armor part, such as the head armor, cockpit hatch, and tail armor is movable. Incorporating numerous movable parts is a mechanical highlight.
01: The head armor and cockpit hatch can be opened and closed, and an included 1/72 scale pilot figure can be placed inside.
02: When the back cover is removed, the Zoid core shape and power gear can be revealed.
03: It's equipped with two surface-to-air missiles inside of the tail armor.
