Introduction

 Raymond is a Major in the Imperial Army, stationed at Zagato Base. The base carries out weapons development for the Empire. One thing of note about Raymond's character is that he understands the importance of diplomatic situations. When an infiltrator caused Zagato Base to fire on a nearby Republican training operation, prompting the Republic to counter attack, Raymond immediately dropped everything and tried to establish communication, ordering his men not to fire back. This was a refreshing change from many characters of the past, who'd be more likely to act out the second they're attacked.

History

Capture of the Beast Liger, Episode 7

Raymond oversaw the retrieval of Leo's Beast Liger when, following a battle with Giller, it ended up at the bottom of a canyon. The Liger was taken back to the base, where it was restrained. However, when they attacked the base to get their Zoid back, Raymond intercepted them, stopping them in the hangar where the Liger was held. It was only thanks to Aysel that they escaped. When she fired the base's Long Range Cannons at the nearby Republican troops, Raymond instantly ordered a ceasefire and established communication with the enemy troops to note the situation as a misfire. This allowed Leo and the rest to escape. Though he tried to order his men to capture them again, their Zoids had all been disabled due to a jaminga diversion.
