- Episode 2: Invasion! Death Metal
Arashi has finally activated the Wild Liger's Wild Blast! But controlling the proud King of Zoids is not as easy as he suspected. The Liger has his own ideas of how to handle the battle, and after a couple of close calls for Arashi, he wonders if he might need to bail to survive. Thankfully Bacon's there to save the day before it comes to that.
Even so, this thought has unintended consequences. As soon as Death Metal is dealt with and they return to the village, Wild Liger wants nothing to do with Arashi. It rebuffs his countless attempts to get back on, and even when Death Metal returns, the Zoid refuses to fight. Arashi has to come to terms with the fact that what he considered doing, was to abandon the Liger in battle, and now the Liger has lost its trust in him.
