The Raptors of the Rap Squad are likely on loan from Death Metal. However, the team still seems to value these little guys, and panic when the raptors are launched half way across the battlefield by Drake's Gilraptor. Like most raptors they're rather mindless and barely act on their own, other than to hide behind the Wild Liger after being attacked by their vicious leader.

Ooky, like the rest of his team was content to feed Arashi when they encountered each other in the desert. They explained what they were doing there, looking for the Wild Liger, and why they worked for Death Metal. Earning money to send back to their home, Beatbox Village. Only, out of fear of facing Drake, they couldn't let it go when they realized Arashi knew the Wild Liger.
They're taken out of the fight before it even begins, when Drake's Gilraptor steamrolls their poor little raptors, who promptly skitter behind the Wild Liger for protection. Fearful of the larger Zoid and its owner, the Rap Squad and their Zoids alike sit out the fight. In the end the battle is interrupted, and when he and his team are ordered to leave the area with Drake, they listen.
