- Helcat

- Technical Information

Pilots: ---
Team: Team Champ

Profile:
Helcats are speedy little Zoids with advanced stealth technology. By making use of optical camouflage they can turn almost completely invisible and snipe enemies from relative safety. However, as they're usually used for team fillers during short battle skits, they're rarely depicted making use of these abilities.

- Technical Information

Pilots: ---
Team: Team Gold

Profile:
These vicious little Helcats were a member of the Backdraft Group's Team Gold, and unlike the typical Helcat, they were heavily armed and able to do serious damage. They were also one of the only cases in NC0 where the Helcats used their Stealth Shields. They acted as the frontline warriors to keep enemy Zoids engaged while the larger Saber Tiger hung back.

- Equipment Overview

Schwarz Unit

The main weapon of the Helcat GS is the large gatling gun on its back. The Helcat's entire back unit is actually a straight port from the Saber Tiger SS, piloted by Schwarz in Zoids Chaotic Century / Guardian Force. It's missing the pink missile unit, which I'm 99.9% sure was just an accidental leftover (later removed) from customizing Stinger's Saber Tiger's 3D model into the SS rig.

History

Vs. Team Blitz, Episode 4

Team Gold was a shady but opportunistic team, preying upon already ongoing sanctioned battles as well as initiating their own challenges against teams. After interrupting an official match with their three Helcats, they spied a Pteras in the air. There was no hesitation in gunning it down, and both the Zoid and the pilot, Rinon Toros, were captured by the team.

This gave the Backdraft Group some leverage. Typically they could incentivise pilots into matches with reward money for particularly interesting matches. In this case, however, they didn't have to offer anything of real value. They could just use Rinon herself as a bargaining chip. While the rest of the group back in the hangars realized they'd bit off way more than they could chew trying to contain this fiery pilot, the Helcats entered their battle against Team Blitz already cloaked in stealth. As soon as the battle began they attacked from right in front of the enemy team.
Soon they encountered problems with Team Blitz was able to locate them using the detection capabilities of their Dibison. Stealth wasn't Team Gold's only option, however. They also employed a large ball that served as a battering ram to take out the team's Dibison, and even with a single Zoid left to take on, they brought out their backup: A Saber Tiger with a Missile Diffusion System. Unfortunately, gun shots from the enemy team's Command Wolf disrupted their stealth shields, and dust gathering on the battlefield highlighted the location of the other cloaked Zoid.
