Profile:
The Cannon Tortoise is well known for its heavy armor, which makes it a difficult unit to bring down with conventional gunfire. Its cockpit being able to withdraw into the body also makes it a safe choice for pilots. However, it's also exceptionally slow, and seen as a sitting duck. For this reason it's usually used to provide support fire from a distance. The Champ Team quickly upgraded theirs to the BC variant.

The Cannon Tortoise BC is an upgrade to the original Cannon Tortoise which installs a Large-Calibre Beam Cannon to the back. This massive gun uses the previous back weapon as a stabilizer, and dramatically increases both the Cannon Tortoise's firepower and its ranged capabilities. The weapon is primarily used to provide support fire over extremely long distances.

History

Vs. Team Blitz, Episode 5

Two Cannon Tortoise BCs were used by Team Champ in a battle against Team Blitz. Their role was to confuse the enemies with bombardments from well out of detection range while the hired mercenary, Jack Cisco and his Lightning Saix, picked away at the enemies from the cover of all the dust.
