- Episode 48: The Black Lightning

Summary:

    The last battle has left the Command Wolf broken. As much as they try any efforts to save the Zoid has failed, and the core has begun turning the central body to stone. Slowly, the Command Wolf is dying.

     In spite of the severe sympathy that the rest of the team feels towards Irvine's situation there is no time to ignore their real threat. Dr. D has developed a state-of-the-art speed machine, the Lightning Saix. It is shaping up to be the hope of the Empire before the combat system is completely destroyed in a test run where the pilot lost consciousness. The only hope of saving both the Command Wolf and the Lightning Saix is to transplant the memory data of the Command Wolf.

     For obvious reasons Irvine is reluctant, but time is running out. The president of the Helic Republic has been kidnapped along with Thomas' Dibison, being controlled by the crimson organoid, Ambient. The Lightning Saix is forced to deploy with the transplanted data before any testing can be done. Will it be enough to save them all?
