- Episode 39: The Invisible Enemy
Characters: Van, Fiona, Thomas, HiltzZoids: Zeke, Blade Liger, Dibison, Helcat, Ambient, Gustav (Standard White)
Van is (unfortunately) working with Thomas Schubaltz once again. They've been called into a mission regarding outlaws who have started to cut off supply trails through the mountains. The outlaws are using a special type of Stealth Zoid, and since they won't mess with soldiers that have decent training, they devise a scheme to draw them out.
Both the Blade Liger and the Dibison are hidden in transport carriers hauled on a Gustav, which is being controlled by BEEK. Just as planned, the outlaws attack the transport unit, but is quick to retreat when they realize the Blade Liger and Dibison are a threat. With the aid of the artificial intelligence of BEEK, Van and Thomas manage to locate the hide out for the outlaws. Hiltz disrupts these plans when he and Ambient show up.
Before the two can be executed at gun point, Fiona and Zeke charge in with a truck load of dynamite and make a scene. As you'd expected, this plan back fires, but the team manages to escape just long enough to reach their Zoids. Although the ensuing battle ends in their favor they find the ruins to be hollowed out -- everything that would have been of value stolen.
