- Zoids Fuzors: Encyclopedia
Here we'll archive all of the information found in Zoids Fuzors. This information may not line up with other series, it is important to recognize that this encyclopedia applies
strictly to the Fuzors
anime, not the rest of the franchise! If information is missing this is likely intentional, as we only update the info as we review each episode personally. So, when it is missing obvious info from later in the series, that is why!
Black Impact (Team):
Pilot: Billy [Blade Liger BI]
Pilot: Jackie [Blade Liger BI]
Pilot: Rastani [Blade Liger BI]
Black Impact is a famous battle team in Blue City, which consists of 3 Blade Ligers piloted by Billy, Jacki, and the most famous -- Rastani. They are known as very successful winners, up until their Ligers are defeated by the Killer Spiner in Episode 1. Rastani himself is part of a very rich family.
Dark Assassins (Team):
See Dralles (Team)
Dralles (Team):
Pilot: Malloy [Dark Spiner]
Pilot: Rattle [Killer Dome]
Dralles, known as the Dark Assassins in English is the first team to initiate use of Fuzors Gattai (Fusion) in combat. Their Killer Dome and Dark Spiner combination swept the field of enemies before fuzors were even properly understood. This opened the flood gates to find out different fuzor combinations and gained them a pretty fierce reputation. In public, neither pilot seems to conduct themselves with any self respect, acting purely on sheer arrogance.
Easy Town:
Easy Town is a slightly run down city compared to the vast Blue City. It was a point of trading during Episode 1. An actual address is mentioned, 1355 Teflar Str. Easy Town.
Gattai:
Gattai is a term used to refer to Zoids Fusion. In the English version this was changed to Fuzor Zoids. In the beginning of the series very little is known about this process, and as the series goes on people just kind of roll with its existence. Not a lot of research really goes into it, beyond figuring out how to better weaponize it, but it is established that it multiplies the power of a Zoid several times. Even for many basic fusions.
This power isn't without drawbacks. It is extremely strenuous for the fusion partners, exhibiting a time limit that will result in a system freeze of all units if exceeded. It is also restricted to very few, very specific combinations. In the series, at least.
Mach Storm (Team):
Pilot: Amy [Konig Wolf MK-II]
Pilot: Dan [Support]
Pilot: Hop [Manager]
Pilot: Maskman [Command Wolf AC]
Pilot: Matt [Leoblaze]
Pilot: RD [Liger Zero]
Pilot: Sigma [Boldguard, Leostriker]
Pilot: Sweet [Support]
Our primary team in the series! Mach Storm partakes in official battles while also being the frequent object of bullying by Savage Hammer. They often find themselves dragged into situations they want no part in, and it's not coincedence that this occurs with their obnoxious team members. The teams record is decent, and they're shown to keep additional Zoids as well as rotate stock on occasion. A bit of a difference from earlier series' teams.
Renegade Force (Team):
The Renegade Force is a battle team that consists of two Godos. They are featured in one episode (1) where they are defeated in no time by Black Impact.
Savage Hammer (Team):
Pilot: Blade [Berserk Furher]
Pilot: Burton [Lord Gale]
Pilot: Luke [Buster Eagle]
Pilot: Sandra [Manager]
Savage Hammer is a combat team who often focuses on the fringe of legality, partaking in thieving and ambushing opponents. Actually, they seem to never take part in official battles, and whether or not they are still recognized legally is unknown. The team itself is instructed by Sandra on most matters, including those of illegal means.
Zoids Battle (Program):
Zoids Battle is a TV program which reviews the different arena battles in Blue City. Who's winning, who is the current top Zi Fighter, and even discussing the latest Zoid events and breakthroughs! Their slogan is "Zoids Battle: Where war is the only way to win!"
Zells:
This is a measurement of power used in the English dub. It determines the overall power of a Zoid. Supposedly, fuzor combinations multiply their power. Not just once or twice, but several times over. The example given is the Dark Spiner (65,000 Zels) and Killer Dome (58,000 Zels) who together should add up to 123,000. When they combine, however, their total zels actually equals out to 933,000 -- over seven times more than their standard power.
