Character Summaries:
Rokai was a pilot of the Guylos Empire, who happened to find himself in the wrong place at the wrong time. Shortly after the Gojulas took down part of the Imperial Forces Rokai was pursued through New Helic city by some thugs wanting to ... Well, beat him with a steel pipe. Because they're just nice people like that.
Although he was saved by Van he still faced the difficulty of getting out of the city. He decided that his best bet was to use the Power Reinforced Command Wolf. He stole the Zoid and fled the city, but was confronted by his former savior -- and the Zoid defeated. Chased down at first, he was let to run by Van and his friends. It was known that he had wanted to return home to his mother in Guylos territory.
Later in the series Rokai is shown to have rejoined the Empire. Unfortunately, his mother had passed on before he was ever able to get back, and when he recognized Van he chose to sever his ties with the Empire and his own homeland in order to save Van and pay the debt that he had owed to him. During his second stay with the Empire he wore a black and white arm band to signify his allegiance.

Power Reinforced Command Wolf: This mighty Zoid was said to be one of the strongest Zoids stationed at New Helic City. It is here that Rokai happened upon his, and he chose to steal the Zoid in order to escape the city. Unfortunately he inflicted massive damage and civilian casualties in his attempt to flee the city, ending with his Zoid being defeated by Van's Shield Liger.
