Character Summaries:
Prozen, the Prime Minister of the Guylos Empire, is the driving villain in Zoids Chaotic Century. He's a wicked and ambitious man, with little concern for anyone, but much aggravation towards everyone. He starts the series in command of the Imperial forces, and is usually the one that gives the orders. He receives much credit for his 'courage on the battlefield' even though he never leaves a sheltered position.
As the series progresses, Prozen intends to destroy the Republican Army. He is appauled when Emperor Rudolph, having just inherited the throne, calls off his war game and commands him to step down. He decides to change up his battle tactic, plotting to have the young prince killed and the Republican Army framed for his assassination. This vindictive action turns out to take much longer than he'd realized, and by the time he finds Rudolph again, it's late enough that he's able to seize control of the Imperial Army anyway.
Aside from his ambitions, when Prozen was younger, he took Raven in and had him trained to become an Imperial Soldier. Although this didn't seem to be out of pity for the child, but intrigue, he still spoils Raven compared to anyone else, and allows Raven to act entirely as he wishes, as long as he follows his orders.
Later in the series Prozen is defeated by Van Flyheight and his Blade Liger.

Death Saurer: Prozen went through a great deal of effort to resurrect the Death Saurer, a Zoid that he knew would change the future of the Empire forever. Although he never officially piloted this Zoid, he did command it -- and it did listen. It was implied that Prozen was simply possessed by the evil spirit of the Death Saurer, but his actions and communications with it may suggest otherwise.
