Escape To Enemy Territory

Ultrasaurus Escape Operation   ZAC 2038

In ZAC 2038, the Republic radio base near the Burnham River, which flowed along the border between the two countries, found itself suddenly surrounded by Imperial Army elites. The Empire's desperate attack operation had been launched.

This base, which was established in the border area called "Ohm's Beak District", which jutted out into Imperial territory was tasked with catching radio signals from the Empire and obtaining information. For this reason, the latest communication equipment and engineers were sent there, and there were many confidential documents related to the Republican Army's communications. The Imperial Army's aim was to obtain all of them intact.

The day of the operation was chosen to be a stormy dawn. First, the Sinker troops crossed the Burnham River and prepared for Republic reinforcements. After that, Kong, Sabretiger, and Redhorn forces, each with 30,000 troops would storm into the base and occupy it without giving them time to resist.

According to Imperial Army intelligence, the base had only a dozen or so Zoid crew members. With that many people, they could only operate ten combat Zoids, maybe less.

However, this information was only half right. The number of crew members was accurate, but they all rode just a single combat Zoid. It was the giant Zoid, the Ultrasaurus.

The Republican Army, noticing that they were being surrounded by the Imperial Army began their secret escape. Everyone at the base got into the Ultra, outwitting the enemy and escaping to the Imperial side. As the Ultra crossed the river in silence, the vanguard Sabretiger unit ran toward the base.

The Ultra, having escaped the encirclement, fired its cannons toward the base. They destroyed the Sabre unit along with all of their important secrets. However, the Imperial Army launched a fierce attack on the Ultra, who was fleeing at full speed toward the border.

Just before the border, the Ultra was finally captured. The Imperial Army gradually closed in on the encirclement.

Suddenly, the Ultra's body began to glow a pure white. The moment Kong turned around, sensing danger, all of the Ultra's guns opened fire. It was its final trump card, an all-direction attack.

After the flames and smoke had cleared, the molten remains of the Imperial Zoids were scattered across the crater now formed in the earth. The desperate escape had been successful.
