When Bowie and his team returned to Desertshore, a tragic scene awaited them there. The Deathnium vein protected by the White Tribe had been mined to exhaustion by the Dark Army, and the companions of the ZZ Trapper Force who had stayed behind to guard the mining team had borne severe injuries as a result of the fighting.
Meanwhile, Demon had returned to Death Oasis, and using the great amounts of plundered Deathnium, he revived the Deathsaurer he had recovered. In the cockpit of the Deathsaurer was the figure of Johnny, the former Gojulas pilot.
In order to revive a pterosaur-type Zoid of the ZZ Trapper Force which had been injured in the battle with the Dark Army, as well as to increase their battle potential, the machine carried out fusion evolution with Bowie's favourite machine using the ZNA System. Looking towards the final decisive battle soon to come, the Alliance Army reorganised itself, and the ZZ Trapper Force strengthened the weapons on each of their machines.
