Translator Notes:

Avenge of Proitzen is a book that was released as part of the original Zoid Core Box. It features more or less the same story content as Official Fan Book Vol. 4, except missing the ending we would get later. The fact files are different (with no equipment lists or combat ratings) and it doesn't have all of the 'future product' advertisement stuff you typically find at the end of the other books. I guess you could say this is more of a "3.5" pre-release version.

Another minor note is that this book introduces some of the artwork from the Zoids Battle Card Game in the early chapters. These were almost entirely without additional comment to increase the sense of urgency in the X story. For the story segment, please see OFB4. This section will only include the content that differs from OFB4.

- Dark Continent of Nyx Map

 * This map differs from OFB4 in that it includes many names in red (the Eisen Dragoon route color). Though the image is slightly different, I opted to repurpose the OFB4 image and just update the text colors (the only difference is how the text boxes overlay the image. There's no difference in the art itself.)

- Prologue

This is the story of three men who will never be included in the official history of this planet.

Rudolph Zeppelin, a boy who had to take the throne of the Guylos Empire at the young age of only 12 years old.

Karl Lichten Schwarz. A young prodigy officer born into a distinguished family, he's truly loyal to the Empire and to the young emperor.

Gunther Prozen. The regent of the Empire who must support the young emperor.

They will fight each other following their own destinies and beliefs. The victor will be hailed as a hero, and the loser will be consigned to the darkness of history.

This is why we'd like to portray them as they are, without excessive praise or condemnation.
