"All troops, move out! Collaborate with the people of the former Zenebas territories and destroy the remnants of the Republic's forces. Our final destination is the capital of the Republic... Helic City!"
Zoids were pouring out from the Eisen Dragoon's transport ship, the Dragoon Nest, one after another. There were Berserk Führers, Diloforces, Grounchars... And on top of that there were even the various types of powerful Zoids that had caught up to the elite Ray Force, with some even newer models, such as the Dark Spiner, Sturm Führer, and Killer Dome mixed into the crowd. The Republican Army, which had dispatched most of its main forces to the Dark Continent, was no match for them.
The Dark Spiner, in particular, became a target of fear among Republic soldiers. As soon as they entered the range of the Jamming Waves emitted from their dorsal fins, they'd lose control of their Zoids, which could then be manipulated at the enemy's will. Gojulas and Liger Zero, who were supposed to be their strongest allies, suddenly became their enemies. Nothing could've been more frightening. On top of that, the people of the former Zenebas territories were revolting, engaging in a series of destructive activities.
Soon the entire defensive line of the Republic collapsed. Just three weeks after landing in Cook Bay on the Central Continent, the Western Half of the continent, including the former capital of the Zenebas Empire, fell under the Eisen Dragoon's control.
The Dark Spiner's jamming waves, which allowed them to freely manipulate Zoids, were used by the Eisen Dragoons to attack the Republican Army. The Republic's soldiers panicked as they were attacked by their allies. |

The capital of the Republic lay spread out before Wolff. Seven weeks had passed since their landing. The Republic no longer possessed any military force, leaving them with one choice: Surrender or die.
"Any word from President Camford?"
Wolff's aide shook his head. It meant that their recommendations of surrender had gone ignored. After a small nod, Wolff gave the decisive order.
"We will now begin our assault on the enemy capital!"
Wolff didn't know that the enemy president showing the will to resist him to the end was his own aunt. Of course, this was something not even Prozen had known.
President Louise Elena Camford was Prozen's older half-sister Elena, who he'd seen at the funeral when he was young. After Zenebas' death, she was sent to the Central Continent as proof of the armistice between the Guylos Empire and the Helic Republic. Helic Muroa II, the Republic President at the time, showered his affection on the daughter of Zenebas, who had been his lifelong foe yet beloved brother. She responded to this affection and put all her effort into friendly relations with Guylos as Helic's close aide. She also took great pains to work on harmony between the Republic and former Zenebas citizens. As a result, she had climbed all the way to President, but she had not made her origins public out of consideration for the emotions of the old Republic populace.
They may not have been flying the Zenebas flag, but Prozen's wish to "avenge his father" had been granted long ago.
In the past, the brothers Helic and Zenebas had to fight even though they loved each other. Indeed. The tragedy of the past had repeated itself once again.
The Sturm Führer, a modified version of the Berserk Führer, was equipped with high-mobility booster and free round shields.
The Republic's new stealth machine, the Megaleon. It showed great success in anti-air battles, but wasn't able to change the bigger picture.
The dual-use Zoid of the Eisen Dragoon, Killer Dome, boasted hard armor. It achieved great results in landing and crossing battles.
