- Zoids Note Map Vol. 1
The Zoids Note Map is a notebook that is geared towards the original Battle Card Game. It includes a series of maps / playing fields that can be used with the game and even a bit of story information on the interior. If you're interested in more art-based books this one may not be for you. It is almost entirely maps, which is of course the entire point!

Western Continent Map:
A continent where many historic ruins from the ancient people of planet Zi remain. The northern part of this continent is the main battlefield between the Empire army and the Republic army. Before it was a peaceful continent where there was no unified country and various people co-existed. But now it was divided into an Imperial faction and a Republic faction and an intense battle is underway.

* I suspect that the Galil Historic Ruins are the "Gurrill" ruins mentioned in the anime, but since there's no mention of the plateau and I have no katakana of Gurrill I'm reluctant to change this.
- Zoids Card Story
(A battle of unknown heroes...)
Two large powers on the Planet Zi clashed in a war on the Western Continent (Europa). Since the start of the war in ZAC 2099 August 8th, approximately 3,500,000 soldiers were deployed into the battle from both sides together in one year. Over 200,000 battle Zoids were in the unprecedented huge war. And, in such a huge war, many heroes (regardless of whether they wished to be or not) were born. Moreover, the conditions that influenced the large war would be forever handed down from one generation to the next as 1 page of history. But, what led the war to a true victory, which wasn't recorded in history, was a bunch of quarrel-like battles that weren't forgotten. Not only the great generals but the unknown average soldiers under them who put their lives on the line on the front lines were also great heroes...
And now. A battle between two soldiers that wouldn't remain in history is starting here. One person is a Major in the Republic Army's Information Bureau, Kei Isurugi.
Kei Isurugi-
She was given the mission to report about the complete counterattack plan of the base (of people of the Republic faction) at the southern part of the Europa continent, "New Helic City". She joined the movement of the main Republic army and was a secret messenger for requesting support actions from the Republic faction. Major Isurugi commanded her favorite machine, a black Blade Liger with specifications for nighttime battle, and 2 Zoids she sortied in the darkness. Being only one sortie, it was determined the small force would easily escape the watchful eyes of the Empire's forces. But...
Her squad would soon be discovered by an Imperial unit. It was bad luck. Imperial pilot, First Lieutenant Barrett Gatter, encountered them by chance while he was testing out the state-of-the-art Lightning Saix. Of course, First Lieutenant Gatter didn't know Major Isurugi's mission. But to test the combat of the Lightning Saix the Blade Liger was the best opponent. First Lieutenant Gatter ordered 2 Zoids to follow it immediately.
"Follow the black Blade's unit!"
Incidentally, it was ZAC2100, in the autumn. Records of this battle which occurred in the last years of the war on the Western continent aren't left anywhere. You can write the end of this battle yourself.
