- Details of Design

Unit Symbiosis and Dependency

Ultra Saurus the Destroyer is the primary machine of the Destroyer Corps, but it depends heavily on its allies to remain in battle. Destroid Gojulas Unit 1 carries extra bullets for the Destroyer, while Destroid Gojulas Unit 2 provides support by holding the bars on the back of the cannon, absorbing some of the intense recoil. It also relies on Gojulas the Ogre for protection, Storm Sworders to cover the skies, and Pteras to fly ahead, do recon, and report back with the target's exact position.

- Military History

ZAC 2100, September, Presidential Ultra Saurus

Rolled out in ZAC 2100, Ultra Saurus the Destroyer was deployed as part of the Destroyer Corps to put a definitive end to their war against the Guylos Empire on Europa. Their orders were to attack Nixie Base, the Empire's main hub on the Western Continent.

ZAC 2100, October, Presidential Ultra Saurus

The Guylos Empire knew that if Ultra Saurus the Destroyer reached Nixie Base, it would be over for them. So, they deployed Ritz Runstedt and his Geno Breaker to intercept the Zoid. Unfortunately, this battle diverted when Ritz came face to face with his old rival, Arthur Borgmann, and his Blade Liger AB. Their fight took them to the nesting site of the Empire's lost Zoid, the Death Stinger, and in order to defeat a Zoid that they felt was a threat to both armies, they joined forces and fought until Arthur Borgmann's eventual death. This fight meant that Ritz Runstedt had failed in his original mission to intercept the Destroyer. It was thus successful in its assault on Nixie Base, destroying the main facilities along with the command center. It continued to fire until the barrels of the 1200mm Ultra Cannons melted, becoming unusable. Work began to remove the Destroyer equipment and retrofit the Ultra for naval warfare.

- Equipment Information

- Gojulas Cannon x6

Gojulas Cannon x6: ゴジュラスキャノンx6

The Destroyer is equipped with six Gojulas Cannons, which can rotate up and down. This is a terrifying assortment when taking into account that each of these cannons is also capable of firing in rapid succession, and has the fire power to puncture even large-scale Zoid armor.

- Various Anti-Air Equipment

Various Anti-Air Equipment: 各種対空装備

The tail of the Ultra Saurus was modified to include various anti-air equipment items, including what looks to be four anti-air missiles. In terms of the physical custom, these missiles were added by gutting the battery compartment in the tail and adding in the missile detailing, giving the Zoid even greater firepower than it already had. When stowed, these missiles are covered by a thick plate of armor.

- 1200mm Ultra Cannon x2

1200mm Ultra Cannon x2: 1200mmウルトラキャノン

The battle-ender of the Destroyer's equipment. The 1200mm Ultra Cannons sport a range of at least 100 kilometers, twice that of standard long-range missiles. It lands with the force to destroy a city, and in one blow, completely obliterated 300 Imperial Zoids and damaged thousands more. The ammo for these cannons is, of course, massive, and is typically carried by the Destroid Gojulas who travel with the Destroyer Corps. When the cannons are fired, the Destroid Gojulas holds a large bar on the back of the cannons, absorbing some of the recoil, and the cannon vents out of a large block on the back.
