Elect Communi	The Maccurtis is one of several SS (Super Small) Zoids used by the Eisen Dragoon. It was one of the first Zoids seen during the early stages of Neo Zenebas' uprising, and is well known for its heavy armor and strength, easily able to compete with Zoids above its weight class. ^[1]

Numerous Pilots And Standardized Joints

Maccurtis is another Eisen Dragoon SS Zoid that's typically controlled by multiple pilots. One pilot controls the Zoid from the cockpit, in a laying position. Another sits in the recon vehicle, able to act independently as needed. The model kit came with three, the third being a standing figure, implying the presence of an additional crew member.

Aside from that, the Zoid uses a standardized joint (peg size) that allows it to be combined with other SS Zoids to make new creations.

ZAC 2101, June, Rollout

Following the battle of the Andar Sea the Republic was forced to flee through the Triangle Daras, a powerful electromagnetic sea that sent their Zoids violently out of control. Just as they had accepted their fate, being torn apart by their own Zoids, a strange aquatic machine surfaced from the violent waves. It used its signal lights to flash a message, instructing them to follow. It then proceeded to lead them through the safe corridor of the storm, to the shores of Imperial territory. This Zoid was the Maccurtis, a Zoid belonging to the Eisen Dragoon. It saved the Republic so that they could continue their part in the war, weakening both armies.

Maccurtis is said to have such strong armor and weapons that it's able to compete with medium-scale Zoids.
This Zoid is said to excel at forced reconnaissance missions as well as fighting in large groups.

- 3-Barrelled Vulcan Gun x1

3-Barrelled Vulcan Gun x1: 3運装バルカン砲×1

The 3-Barrelled Vulcan Gun refers to the red piece on the Maccurtis' face. This is a stationary weapon tucked between the Multi Antennas and we can assume it's a rapid-fire weapon from its name.

- Accelerated Beam Gun x1

Accelerated Beam Gun x1: 加速ビーム砲×2

These guns are attached to the sides, and can rotate forward, targeting enemies in front of or above the Maccurtis. They fire a solid beam of energy.

- Hyper Bite Claw x1

Hyper Bite Claw x1: ハイパーバイトクロー×1

These claws are more along the lines of a powerful press that could potentially be used as manipulators or to crush opponents. Unfortunately, Maccurtis is an army-filler Zoid and its weapons gets barely any mention in official media.

The Hyper Killer Claws are a well articulated weapon with enough force to cut through a medium-scale Zoids' armor. The claws are color coded, the black pieces being articulated to snare the unsuspecting target.

The multi-antenna are articulated antennas on the face of the Maccurtis. Their exact purpose is unknown.

- Pulse Laser Gun x1

The Pulse Laser Gun is an energy weapon stationed between the two red pieces of the tail. The weapon benefits from how articulate the tail is, which is able to fold 180 degrees.

- Small Reconnaissance Vehicle

Small Reconnaissance Vehicle: 偵察用小型ビークル

A presumeably flight-capable reconnaissance vehicle is installed on the Maccurtis' belly, allowing one of its pilots to leave the Zoid in a less obvious vehicle and scope out the surrounding area.

- Small Smoke Discharger x8

Small Smoke Discharger x8: 少型スモークティスチャージャー×8

The Smoke Dischargers are the small nodes on the top of the tail. As a recon Zoid, these are important for the Maccurtis being able to obscure the situation for enemy Zoids.
