 Liger Zero Shield appeared in Smack Zoids! B-Part, in the February issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine, 2002. This was noted to be one of several concepts, along with a Blade and Buster unit that were conceived as CAS units for the Liger Zero. It takes many design cues from the Shield Liger.
- History

 The Liger Zero Shield was not given much information, other than that it was one of several CAS units conceptualized for the Liger Zero. It and all of its fellow units, including the Blade and Buster armors were shelved when Dr. Tacker shifted priority to developing a surprise combat unit. Funny enough, his research was leaked to the Empire, and instead of bringing his plans to fruition they were attacked by the ambush predator, the Liger Zero X.
