Double Sworder is the Zoids equivalent of a combat helicopter, designed for low-altitude combat. Its excellent mobility makes it a true terror to small-scale Zoids and it outperforms the Empire's Saicurtis.  [1]

- Military History

ZAC 2044, Rollout

The Double Sworder is launched into active warfare, serving as the natural enemy to land combat Zoids.

ZAC 2099, Western Continent War

In the early part of the Western Continent War, the Republic was tormented by anti-surface attacks from the Empire's Saicurtis units. They quickly called for Double Sworder reinforcements from their homeland, the Central Continent. They were able to fend off the Saicurtis' vicious attacks.

ZAC 2099, September, Western Continent War

As the Republic fought for control over Mount Olympus, Double Sworders were dispatched to serve as scout Zoids. They reached the top of the mountain before anyone else, and reported back to Republic HQ after spotting a massive Zoid being moved into the ruins near the summit. This reconnaissence led to the Republic sending Halford and his high-speed unit to the ruins, and had it not been reported at that time, there was a very realistic chance that the Empire's Death Saurer Revival Plan would've succeeded.

ZAC 2099, November, Western Continent War

A lone Double Sworder returned to the burning summit of Mount Olympus in search for survivors. It recovered Tommy Paris and the combat data from his downed Command Wolf. This data would be instrumental in developing Organoid System Zoids later, by referencing the wolf's analysis of the situation on Mount Olympus.

- Equipment Information

- 4-Barrelled Machine Gun

4-Barrelled Machine Gun: 4連装マシンガン

These four stationary guns are installed to the front of the Double Sworder, right between its large mandibles. They provide rapid fire directly ahead of the Zoid, clearing the path of enemies.

- Anti-Zoid Small-Calibre 2-Barrelled Beam Gun

Anti-Zoid Small-Calibre 2-Barrelled Beam Gun: 対ゾイド小口径2連装ビーム砲

The beam guns are located on the Double Sworder's back. As the name implies, the weapon fires energy. It's attached to a mount that allows it to swivel a full 360 degrees around.

- Break Sword x2

Break Sword x2: ブレイクソードx2

The close-range Break Swords consist of the Double Sworder's large mandibles. When used, the mandibles close in a vice formation, ripping parts from enemy Zoids who are caught unaware.

- Flexible Thruster Binder x2

Flexible Thruster Binder x2: フレキシブルスラスターバインダーx2

Double Sworder in general doesn't receive a lot of equipment explanation, but we can reasonably assume that it's a collection of thrusters. In the air, this could provide either an increase in speed or a swift change in flight trajectory.

- Laser Sensor

Laser Sensor: レーザーセンサーx2

These small extensions are placed on the side of the Double Sworder's head. Typically, Laser Sensors are used to measure distance with a high degree of accuracy. Although it doesn't get covered much, the Double Sworder's rear seat is said to be equipped with various other recon sensors.

- Wing Stabilizer

Wing Stabilizer: ウイングスタビライザーx2

The wing stabilizers are used to stabilize the Double Sworder during flight. They're located under the blue outter wings on the back, and extend to the sides when in use.
