None	The Destroid Gojulas, a variant made up of two individuals is a variant rolled out during the Western Continent War to support Ultra Saurus The Destroyer, carrying additional ammo and firepower to fend off would-be attackers. Typically, Unit 1 defends while Unit 2 supports the Ultra Cannon. ^[1]

- Military History

ZAC 2100, September, Deployment

Orders came from headquarters to deploy the Republic's last remaining Ultra Saurus, now modified into Ultra Saurus the Destroyer, and push through Guylos Empire territory to capture Nixie Base. Two Destroid Gojulas were mobilized alongside it, landing first at Rob Base before continuing their march North. Their role was to support the Ultra, both in terms of resupply and recoil management and as body guards. The large army was dubbed the Destroyer Corps.

When the Guylos Empire heard of their approach they mobilized a force of 5,000 Zoids to confront them. They stopped just short of the confrontation and established camp outside of combat range. This force would soon reach the horrific realization that the Ultra Cannons had an extensive range of 100 kilometers. This realization came with the first shell to hit their camp, instantly wiping out everything within several kilometers. The force was completely destroyed, and the Destroyer Corps continued their march.

ZAC 2100, October, Taking of Nixie Base

The Empire decided that the only way to fight the massive Republican force was to establish a small unit of high-speed Zoids, sending them into a likely hopeless situation where they could engage the Ultra in close-range combat. Unfortunately, Ritz and his Geno Breaker, a key component of this plan, got distracted fighting Arthur Borgmann and his Blade Liger. With the Ultra well protected otherwise, it was able to get within range and fire upon Nixie Base, with the Destroid Gojulas right at its side supporting the Ultra Cannons. The Ultra continued to fire until its barrels melted, and Nixie Base was captured.

Both Destroid Gojulas have newly-built backpacks, each modified to fit its own purposes. These packs also carry additional ammunition for the 1200 Ultra Cannons, allowing Ultra Saurus The Destroyer to resupply even on the go. In the case of the first Destroid Gojulas unit, the backpack also has a Twin Laser Cannon attached to the left side.

Twin Laser Cannon: 連装レーザー砲

The Twin Laser Cannon is attached to the left side of the backpack. It appears to be able to rotate up and down slightly, and is connected to an energy tank in the backpack.

6-Shot Rocket Launcher: 6連装ロケットランチャー

This 6-Shot Rocket Launcher is installed to the right side of the backpack. It can fire 6 shots, depicted as being fired at alternating intervals. It's also able to rotate up and down to adjust its firing trajectory.

Reinforced Shock Absorbers: 強化型ショックアブソーバー

Even with the mighty form of the Ultra Saurus, the 1200 mm Ultra Cannon was too powerful. With it unable to support the recoil, the Destroids were retrofitted with reinforced shock absorbers in both feet to help absorb some of the impact. During the firing sequence, a Destroid (usually Unit 2) holds the bars on the back of the Ultra Cannon to help support it. These changes aren't visible.
