- Military History

After Bang saved an imperial soldier from being lynched by radical citizens of New Helic City, the young man stumbled upon an open hangar holding several Command Wolves, including the Reinforced variant. He stole the strongest looking one and shot his way out of the city, causing untold damage and numerous injuries. Furious at how his kindness was repaid, Bang confronted the stolen Zoid outside the city. He defeated it with a well-placed shield ram, but ultimately still allowed the pilot to escape.

This variant joined other Command Wolves on the front lines of the Guygalos Death Saurer battle, providing heavy bombardment support.

Reinforced Command Wolves joined the effort to destroy Raven's Geno Saurer before it could fully evolved, but these efforts were unsuccessful.

This episode also only used a recycle firing animation of the guns, with no new feature of the wolves themselves.

- Notable Facts

 
• This Command Wolf variant has had a lot of names over the years. Some supporting materials for the anime such as the old MBS website referred to it as the Reinforced Spec. or Reinforced Republican Army Spec., while the dub called it the Power Reinforced Command Wolf. The English games, which often dealt with stricter character limits often shortened it to Command Wolf TOWN, while the more up-to-date media such as Japanese games and kits generally agrees on it being the Command Wolf Urban Warfare Spec.
 
• In the anime, the Reinforced Spec. was said to be one of the most advanced Zoids at the time of its introduction.
 
• The modern model kits switched from referring to the Smoke Dischargers as x2 to x4, but it's the same number of items, they're just now counting each barrel separately.

 These weapons are suspended by the sides of the face, where they're attached to a bar that the Command Wolf holds in its jaws. They have 8 barrels on the front, allowing for rapid rotations of fire.

- Headgear

Headgear ヘッドギア

 One bonus of this Command Wolf is protective headgear that floats above the canopy. We can probably assume that like any self-respecting roll cage, it's used to absorb impact in close-range combat and protect the pilot during collisions. ^[1]

- Reactive Armor

Reactive Armor リアクティブアーマー

 The armor covering the legs of the Command Wolf is reactive armor. Though this isn't described in the context of the Zoids series, in real life reactive armor works by using plates filled with other materials to neutralize the armor-piercing effect of incoming projectiles. This converts the piercing damage into blunt force that the machine can actually tank through instead of being shot down by.

- Rocket Launcher

 The rocket launchers refer to the large cannons on the back. These fire rockets one after another, each barrel firing consecutively. The equipment that locks this gear in place wraps around the pre-existing Anti-Zoid Beam Gun, and the two weapons are able to fire at the same time, creating an intense bombardment from the 6 different barrels.
