The Command Wolf Simulation Spec. is a variant depicted in the Zoids anime, where they were used for real combat tests and training in the Republican Army. Multiple Zoids were used in these tests, such as Pteras, and all shared this flat gray color. They otherwise appear to be standard wolves.

Training Battle, Episode 35
A group of at least four of these wolves were used in a test battle at the start of Guardian Force. They fought against Bang Freiheit.
Training Battle, Episode 44
These wolves made a return to fight Bang Freiheit in training battles once again, but still failed to be much of a threat to the Blade Liger.
