- Introduction

The Command Wolf AC is one of the most well known of the wolf variations, featured as a prominent character in two major animes. It has also served extensively in the armies, both in written and visual medias as one of the most wide spread Republican units.

- Military History

ZAC 2100, July, Pursuit of the Empire

When the Empire, thoroughly exhausted after their battle at Rob Base began their retreat, they split into two different routes. A nothern and a southern route. The Republic pursued them on both paths, with Command Wolf ACs joining the pursuit.

ZAC 2101, March, Mobilization of the Ray Force

When the Empire launched a terrifying attack against Nixie Base, making use of their new Death Stinger KFDs, the Ray Force was mobilized for the first time. In a battle that looked hopeless, the Ray Force hit their enemies like a gale, making use of the unique attributes of each unit under their command. Much of the muscle was provided by the Republic's new Liger Zero and its accompanying CAS units, while a variety of wolf-type Zoids provided support. Command Wolf AC was depicted following the Liger Zero to provide support during this battle. The battle was won, and the Death Stinger KFDs, refusing to let their technology fall into enemy hands, self destructed.

ZAC 2101, July, Dark Continent Landing Operation

As the Republic landed on the shores of the Dark Continent of Nyx, they witnessed an unusual sight: Two Imperial factions fighting against one another. However, as this mysterious unit, the Eisen Dragoons, left the battle, the Republic moved forward with their landing operation. Command Wolf ACs joined the Ray Force in fighting their way onto the continent, without much trouble thanks to this strange unit.

ZAC 2101, August, The Eisen Dragoon

When the Ray Force's Shadow Foxes scouted out a mysterious base, the Republic moved to investigate. They were intercepted by the Eisen Dragoon, who warned them to turn away, and continue on toward the Empire's capital. The Republic hesitated, and suffered the consequences. Jamming waves from hidden Grounchars immobilized the Ray Force. Every unit except for Ray Gregg's Liger Zero. Recognized as the Zoid responsible for the destruction of the KFDs, the leader of the Eisen Dragoon, Wolff Muroa, challenged Ray directly.

Though Ray was winning the fight, a monstrous Zoid, the Bloody Demon, erupted from the base they'd been sent to investigate. The pilot gave Wolff the chance he needed to escape, and was intent on destroying the Ray Force. With most of their Zoids immobilized, they were target practice for the overheating, and slowly melting demon. Ray had two choices: Obey Republic Command and pursue Wolff Muroa, killing him to prevent a new war against the formerly-fallen Zenebas Empire, or stay and save his allies, who would surely be destroyed without him. His Zoid was the only one still operable. He chose to stay, and using mixed and matched CAS components, he defeated the Bloody Demon. Wolff, however, returned, saving his subordinate before he could be captured by the Republic. This failure resulted in the entire Ray Force suffering disceplinary action going forward. They were blamed for the war against Zenebas, as they'd had a chance to stop it.

ZAC 2101, September, Tommy Paris's Command Wolf AC

In preparation for a meeting between Schwarz and Hermann, Tommy Paris, Hermann's most trusted subordinate, was given command of the base garrison. However, out of nowhere, his allies burst into flames. Though it'd be reasonable to assume this was the result of sniper fire, with no enemy on radar, Tommy's instincts could feel the presence of an ominous Zoid nearby. By the time he realized that he couldn't trust his radar, it was too late. His Command Wolf AC was torn apart by the attacking Liger Zero X, hidden by optical camouflage. When he failed to respond, Hermann and Schwarz took over the battle, and Hermann eventually killed the Liger Zero X.

ZAC 2101, Early October, Various Events

Though most battles don't specify which Zoids participated, Command Wolf ACs are featured in the images for several battles happening in October of this year. Which battle these images refer to is not specified, but the battles included the battle of the Thrym Highlands, the battle of Chepin forces, the battle on the Bifrost Plains, Vigrid Plains, and Vana Plains.

- Additional Equipment Information

- 2-Shot 250mm Long Range Cannon

2-Shot 250mm Long Range Cannon: 2連装250mmロングレンジキャノン

This double barrel cannon functions as what appears to be an artillery (non-energy) weapon. Both of the gun barrels fire simultaneously, rather than one at a time. The gun also retains a wide range of motion, able to rotate 360 degrees.

The Stabilizer x2 mentioned in the stats list refer to the large panels on either side of the gun.

- Assistance Booster

Assistance Booster: アシスタンスブースター×2

These two leg boosters are installed just below the middle of the leg. They ease the effects of mobility from carrying such a large weapon on the back, although are still not enough to return the wolf to its original 210 km/h.

- Media Appearances

- New Century /Zero

The AC was featured in New Century Zero, piloted by the mercenary Ballad (Brad) Hunter. Originally it had the LC gun, identicle to the Irvine wolf. Later on it was upgraded to the Attack Unit. Unfortunately, in Episode 20 the Zoid died after falling down a cliff and being bombarded by missiles. Brad's wolf is distinguished from normal AC variations by its black tail.

- Zoids Fuzors

The Zoid appeared a second time in Fuzors, where the Attack Custom was piloted by Helmet. While the Zoid did not receive any permanent weapon upgrades, after its first fusion with the Leo Striker to become the Command Striker the Zoid's color permanently changed. It remained silver and never returned to the original blue color.
