Story Information
Pilots: Introduction:
  • None
The Cerberus is a two-headed Command Wolf developed by the Republican Army. It features additional Beam Vulcans, a modified tail, antennas, and of course, two heads.  [1]

- Notable Details

  • The cockpit of the right head acts as a control room with various computers installed to it, meaning a pilot can't actually board it.

  • Although this Zoid is named the Cerberus, it may actually be a reference to Orthrus, Cerberus' brother in Greek mythology who had two heads instead of three.

- Equipment Information

- Beam Vulcan

Beam Vulcan ビームバルカン

The Beam Vulcan is a new weapon for this Zoid, installed to the chest. Model wise, they use Smoke Discharger barrels. There's a two-barrelled gun on each side of the chest and one, turned horizontally attached between the two heads. All together it makes for six barrels that can rapidly fire energy rounds at the opponent.

As an aside, the Saga games also list a Smoke Unit and Double Beam Cannon, but I'm pretty sure these are just short hand for the Command Wolf's basic equipment (which is carried over.)

- Double Fang

Double Fang ダブルファング

The Double Fangs are, of course, the jaws. Since the Cerberus uses the Command Wolf's head, it's fairly safe to assume that it retains the Electron Bite Fangs of the original, though not much is actually known about this weapon's use.
