- Introduction
The Tatara Highlands are a location mentioned in Zoids Generations, and consist of a mountain range stretching 3,000 meters.. It was discovered to be the source of the Bio Zoids that were spreading across the land. Their spread lead to the surrounding villages and farmlands being abandoned.

Cursed Forest
The Cursed Forest refers to the sea of trees filling the Tatara Highlands. They earned their reputation as nobody who wandered into them ever seemed to make it out alive.
Kosei Corridor
This long stretch of road runs alongside a river, connecting the Tatara Highlands to the Zoid Ranch. While most places have become uninhabitable, this ranch has stood its guard against the incursion.
Temple
Deep in the cursed forest lies a temple. It's fiercely guarded by swarms of Guystings and the Shinobi Saix, who kills all intruders to the forest. The pilot of the Saix, a skeletal mummy that conveys its thoughts telepathically determines who is and is not worthy to enter, and seems to only recognize the descendants of the pilots of the Shining Beast and the Sparkling Beast. Once they appeared (Midori and Seki), it conveyed to them the scenes of the former battle. The final stand of the nations against the Bio Zoids and the Bio Zoids' sealing. As it turned out, the doors of the temple were merely an illusion. By walking through them, they witnessed this scene, and after it had passed, they ended up behind the ruin, on a path leading to the Bio Zoid pit where all Bio Zoids were thought to originate from.
