Azas is a confident leader of the 3rd Platoon, and took in both Sodars and Zamas after their respective demotion. In spite of having a rougher appearance he sticks true to the theatrics, introducing their attacks as "Death Showtime" or "Showtime Death." When things don't go his way he even considers taking the villagers hostage, but is stopped before he's able to follow through with it.

    Zamas pilots a Raptor, like the rest of the Commanders that ran Death Metal platoons. He doesn't use any of Zamas' fancy techniques, and is arguably less of a pilot given he wasn't able to do any real damage to the competition Zoids. In the end his Raptor is defeated rather effortlessly.

- Adventure Thus Far

Zamas and his platoon interrupt the unual Zoid Festival held between Baseba and Tengallo village. Their intention is to capture the Wild Liger, and he has both Sodars and Zamas at his side following their recent demotion.

His plans go awry when the Grachiosaurus activates its Wild Blast, and while he does make an effort to take some hostages, he and his platoon are defeated well before they can succeed. After that, they abandon their efforts and leave.
