- Notable Facts

  • Lieutenant Gale was the Iron Kong pilot wrecked by the Cerberus.

  • The puppet masters of the Cerberus call themselves the Trinity Ghost. Thomas observes that they seemed to target Empire Zoids specifically.

  • BEEK's advanced AI was able to properly see through the Cerberus' illusion, but because of the hologram presented in front of them, Thomas refused to believe him. Had he not fought the controls to keep BEEK in place, BEEK likely would have been able to confront the threat of the Saber Tigers sneaking up behind them.

  • The masters of the Cerberus worked at Vash Coeard Academy, where weapons research was carried out for the Empire. It's said that 70% of all weapons currently in use originated here. Heinz was the weapons coordinator.

  • The Cerberus uses Micro-Electronic Stealth Chips. An electrical imaging device that transmits pictures, and in this case took advantage of the surrounding wind mills in the area. By scattering the chips over a wide area in large quantities, they could be used to project illusions, such as the massive Cerberus. Though its electrical impulses would still show up, the Zoid wouldn't actually be a solid mass. Instead, the Cerberus used a Saber Tiger with a large tower on its back to simulate the Cerberus firing from its mouth. The bulk of the Cerberus' body, being so much taller than other Zoids would trick pilots into firing in the wrong direction, ignorant of the much smaller Zoid hiding in the illusion.

  • Heinz wanted to create a system that would render pilots obsolete.
